Gelli Printmaking Workshop

Welcome to the Gelli Printmaking workshop at the Good Neighbour Community Market! Join us for a fun and creative day of making beautiful prints using the Gelli plate technique. No experience is necessary— just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

LOUD Art Society's talented instructor, Kristen Powell, a Master’s of Art Therapy student, professional artist, teacher, and certified yoga teacher, will guide you through the process step by step, helping you discover new ways to express your creativity and produce stunning artworks using alcohol ink. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner eager to explore your inner world, this workshop provides a space to relax, reflect, and unleash your creativity., will guide you through the process step by step. In this workshop, you will use a gel plate and acrylic paint to make monoprints on paper. Through texture, colour, and shape, we will explore the layers of your life and personality. This expressive art therapy workshop will focus on creating artwork that represents the many layers of you! You will learn basic Gelli printmaking techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints.

All supplies, including Gelli plates, paper, paint, and other creative tools, are included! Bring a paint shirt or apron to protect your clothes!
