We are excited to announce our annual Restoration Awareness Event!!
We will begin the activities on the McGill Place side of the cemetery.
This year's event will feature our friend Ron Bartholomew from Durham Marble Works resetting the fallen marker of Thomas Burnett and provide a demonstration on setting our first "Beloved" memorial marker. We will also dedicate our newly planted Remembrance Garden designed and installed by the Master Gardeners.
We hope you will join us on what will be a lovely morning of honoring the ancestors and celebrating community partnerships that have helped to make Geer Cemetery an accessible and welcoming environment for descendants, neighbors, and the greater Durham community.
