What is a Repair Cafe, you ask?
It's a place to get your broken household items fixed, for free!!
✔ promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out
✔ you'll find expert volunteers, with repair skills in all kinds of fields
✔come and enjoy a tea/coffee while your item is fixed, learning the skills to fix things yourself
✔ fixable items include clothing/textiles, battery operated or electrical appliances*, furniture/wooden objects, leather, welding and more!
COVID SAFE
We will be operating a little differently to ensure both our volunteers and visitors stay covid-safe. Changes include:
- Reduced opening hours. The event will operate for a period of 2hrs hours from 1pm to 3pm.
- New set up! To socially distance we have a new set up with more areas in use.
- We ask that you wait outside until called into the foyer to register.
- Hand sanitiser will be available, you will now be required to provide your phone number.

*The Geelong Repair Cafe in Highton will help repair electrical appliances when the issue is mechanical or on the 12V side. We do not help repair 240V cords or dangerous items.
