Bikefitting 201: Saddles and Chamois Workshop

This workshop will cover the basics of saddle and chamois choice. You will learn how saddle position and overall bikefit affects saddle comfort, as well as considerations in terms of saddle width, material and profile for different types of bikes and riders. You can expect to learn something whether you are riding casually in street clothes or riding for long hours in full bike kit.

Presented with the support of Aerotech Designs, who has provided sample chamois for you to see up close and two $150 gift certificates to be raffled for their made in America, size inclusive bibs.

About the Presenter:

A.M. Van Doren (they/them) is a bikefitter and the owner of . They were trained under Greg Robidoux at Serotta International Cycling Institute. They believe that bikefitting should be inclusive and accessible to all riders including women, people of color, people of varying sizes, abilities and styles of riding.

This class is in-person at our Recycle-A-Bicycle Community Bike Shop in Brooklyn.
