GCC, GHEC and Alliance Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop

3.5 million open jobs around the globe is a statistic that should shock you a little bit. The GCC, GHEC and SAA are all partnering to help close that gap. Our cybersecurity professionals will act as mentors to 100 students from local area schools to increase awareness and understanding of cybersecurity as a career. Our program consists of engaging security scenarios that challenge our students to discuss challenges. We play Capture The Flag to teach and test the students team work, analytical thinking skills and creativity in solving problems. Finally, we have professionals currently working in the field talk directly with students, breaking down the veil that commonly surrounds our profession. Career resources are provided to every student for free at completion of 3-4 hour program.
