The Gainesville Community Band warmly invites you to an enchanting afternoon of music and cinematic nostalgia with "The Charlie Dean and Bill Dishman Memorial Trumpet Concert: A Night at the Movies." This special event will take place on Sunday, February 9th, at 3:00 PM at the Santa Fe College Fine Arts Hall, located at 3000 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville, FL 32606.
Prepare to be transported through the magic of film as the band performs a selection of iconic scores and songs from Wicked, James Bond, The Sound of Music, Annie, Mary Poppins, and more!
This concert honors the legacy of two extraordinary musicians, Charlie Dean and Bill Dishman, whose dedication and love for music continue to inspire the Gainesville Community Band. Their contributions to the world of trumpet and the community will be celebrated in this heartfelt tribute.
