Join us for our first year of GBHS Animal Heroes Camp! Animal Heroes Camp will be a half-day camp from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This camp allows kids to come in and work on enrichment activities, get hands-on experience with the shelter animals, meet animal heroes and their handlers, and learn more about their amazing work!
Animal Heroes Camp is for ages 12-15 years old.
Topics such as animal neglect and cruelty and the nature of work that K9 Police Dogs do will be discussed during camp.
Registration is now open!
The registration fee is $30 per day. You can register for every day of the week or a la cart style. Space is limited. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Education Coordinator, Kasey Rawlings, at [email protected]
WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP
Campers will need to wear clothes that they can get wet or dirty and tennis shoes (no flip flops or sandals).
Campers will need to bring a morning snack and a lunch.
Campers will need to bring a reusable water bottle every day.
Campers will NOT need to bring iPads or other electronics/games.
