Dogsflesh are Considered an early pioneer of English hardcore punk. They are often nicknamed "UK82." They were heavily influenced by The Exploited, GBH, Discharge, and Broken Bones.
Their current musical style has shifted more towards rock/metal, but the band's early influences can still be heard and live shows feature a mix of both styles.
