Everyone is invited to join Pavva Iñupiaq Dancers in our Gazhee celebration and sing to the rising sun during Winter Solstice 2024. We drum and sing the song “I Saw the Light” created by the late William Tyson of the Greatland Traditional Dancers. Please meet us in Fairbanks on the Troth Yeddha’ hill, the name given by the Lower Tanana people where the University of Alaska Fairbanks is located.
