Gaylor Pride: a queer dance party

We were dancing, like it was the first time-- and it actually is! LGBTQIA+ Taylor Swift fans are invited to celebrate Pride with a dance party. We'll be playing a mix of Taylor Swift and gay pop classics (THANKFULLY JoJo Siwa invented the genre JUST in time). We'll see you at Town Hall Collaborative on Saturday, June 22, music starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are a sliding scale (message us on Instagram if you need a lower price) and proceeds will benefit the Anera Emergency Relief in Gaza.

All activities are free of charge. Additional cost for food and drink.

Dancing with our hands tied

We won't have a refridgerator light, but we will be dancing around the Town Hall Collaboartive dance floor. You bring the moves, we'll provide the glow sticks and be sure to have the mirror ball shining just for you.

They don't know about the Polaroid picture...

The rest of the world is black and white, we are in SCREAMING COLOR. Take a break from dancing --get a Polaroid taken in front of a Pride backdrop and decorate a frame so you can remember it all too well.

Make the friendship bracelets

We'll have space set up for folks to take a break from dancing and get away from the noise for a bit. Make some friendship bracelets and catch up with other Gaylors.

Meet up every Tuesday night for dinner and a glass of wine

Huge thank you to Town Hall Collaborative for hosting Denver Gaylors! We encourage a two drink minimum as a thank you to this local gem for hosting! Must be 21+ to drink alcohol, NA options available, themed cocktails on deck— be sure to tip your bartenders! Get a bite to eat from Other Dog by The Easy Vegan, open until 9-10 PM. Need a snack after 10 PM? Feel free to order take away from loads of local restaurants.

We team up

All proceeds for this event will benefit Anera Emergency Relief in Gaza. Urgent aid is needed to meet the needs of millions of Gazans experiencing displacement and famine. Most people are lacking basic necessities like water, electricity, shelter, fuel, food and medicine. Anera is providing hot meals, disbursing food parcels, produce baskets and hygiene kits, distributing medical aid at free health clinics, and providing psychosocial support sessions. Guess who we ran into at the shops?

Shop many queer and allied vendors at the Mercantile at Town Hall Collaborative! They'll be open til 8-9 PM.

Mobility

Town Hall Collaborative is ADA accessible, including an accessible entrance, accessible bathrooms, and two accessible parking spots.

Bathrooms

Town Hall Collaborative has three accessible bathrooms, two multi-stall and one single stall.

Noise

There will be music over the loud speakers throughout the event. Attendees should also expect people to talking with each other over the music.

Lighting

Overhead lights will be dimmed. We'll pass out glowsticks and have a disco ball turned on.

Outdoor space

Weather permitting, we will have the garage doors open throughout the event. Regardless of weather, there is an outdoor patio space with seating for 8-15 people.

COVID

Masks are welcome, but not required. If you are feeling ill, please stay home. We will miss you! Vaccination and pre-event testing are encouraged, but not required.
