Gawler Civic Centre Guided Tour - November 2022

A guided tour of the Gawler Civic Centre will take between 45 minutes and 1 hour, or can be shortened or tailored to meet individual's or group requirements.

Tickets / Registrations:

$5 per person - includes a Coffee (voucher) from Metro Cafe, Ground Floor, Gawler Civic Centre - book here (online booking fees apply)

OR

FREE - without Metro Cafe voucher - book here or book in-person at the Gawler Visitor Information Centre (Lyndoch Road) or Civic Centre Gawler Public Library (Murray Street)

Explore all areas of the centre, understand the history of the State Heritage Listed buildings and discover many interesting facts about the facility, recent renovation and future direction.

The Gawler Civic Centre project was awarded the following in 2019 & 2020:

• 'Public Architecture' Award at the 2019 SA Architecture Awards - awarded to MPH Architects
• 'Great Place' and 'Minister's Award' for Planning Excellence SA at the 2019 Planning Institute of Australia Awards - awarded to Town of Gawler
• 'President's Award' in the Great Place category at the 2020 National Planning Institute of Australia Awards - awarded to Town of Gawler

A COVID-Safe Tour:

• Frequent disinfection cleaning is in place, particularly our ‘high-touch’ points

• Hand sanitiser stations are available for show attendees

• Refunds/cancellations are available to those who feel unwell - we encourage staff and community to stay away if you feel sick

• Online bookings continue to be strongly encouraged, however ticket registrations at the door are available until sold out

• Social distancing measures will be implemented where possible, between individuals and groups who tour together
