Gavin M.:
Gavin M. is a bit of a changing wild card as a singer/songwriter/musician. Playing in indie bands throughout the 2000s and 2010s to writing solo material to performing with different bands of different genres (hip hop, country, brit pop, and even heavy metal). Gavin was selected by musician Jon Batiste to go to the 2020 Grammys in support of his song "Old & Young Soul, Tonight". This was in support of a contest with Lincoln car manufacturer.
As of the last 3 years, he has been playing a lot of traditional Irish music and learned tenor banjo, mandolin, and Irish fiddle. This is in conjuntion with his knowledge of piano and guitar. Overall, Gavin follows what he wants, rather than what everyone else wants. This keeps him on what he considers a personal course and a true course. His music can be compared to Brit Pop from Oasis, Coldplay, and other influencing artists from Damien Rice to Glen Hansard.
Justin Johnson:
Justin Johnson is a singer-songwriter from St. Louis, MO. He has found success in local bands such as Pretty Little Empire, Jump Starts, and The Fog Lights. In 2011, The Riverfront Times named him "Best Songwriter." In recent years, Justin has focused on performing as a solo artist. His most recent record, "Never Coming Home," was released in 2019. Through earnest and emotive performances, Justin's lyrics speak to the relatable themes of love, loss, and human connections. When not creating music, Justin can be heard talking about his love of movies as the co-host of the podcast, "Don't Push Pause."
Hal Pascale:
Hal Pascale (Bonvie) was southern born, California raised, and STL harvested. On a mission to articulate universal emotions, she soothes and engages her audience through tickling the ivories and singing from the heart.
Devon Cahill:
Practically born singing, Devon made her professional debut at age 6 in a three-month run of "The Sound of Music". In 2012 she shifted gears from musical theatre and formed the indie folk band Letter to Memphis, which quickly became a local favorite, playing at venues and major cultural events all over town and winning Best Folk Band from the Riverfront Times two years in a row. In 2017, she ventured out as a solo artist, and debuted her first solo EP, entitled “When I Wake” in October 2018. Her rootsy songwriting style is a hybrid of Americana, indie and folk music. When not performing solo, Devon leads a band with David Newmann, Simon Chervitz, and special guests. They have opened for touring artists such as Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards), Amythyst Kiah, two time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz, and The Local Honeys. The band has a couple of new singles out now and their debut album is currently in the works!
