Dear friends,
After our recent kirtan evenings, we would love to invite you to join us for a very special festival: Gaura Purnima — the appearance day of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, celebrated with joyful chanting, reflection, and celebration.
🗓 Monday 3rd March
Here’s the evening schedule:
🎶 5:30 PM – Bhajans
Gentle, meditative devotional songs to help us arrive, settle, and connect.
📖 6:30 PM – Harikatha
A short spiritual talk and storytelling about the life and teachings of Lord Chaitanya, and the meaning of this special day.
🌊 8:00 PM – Abhisheka & Kirtan
Abhisheka is a ceremonial bathing of the Deity with sacred substances, accompanied by joyful kirtan (call-and-response chanting).
🪔 8:30 PM – Arati
A beautiful traditional offering of light and prayers, with singing.
🍛 8:50 PM – Prasada
A sanctified vegetarian feast shared together in community.
No prior experience is needed — just come as you are. 💛
