This will be our 48th Christmas singing in the nation's capital. Pierre Massie and his award-winning Stairwell Carollers invite you to our December 20th Christmas concert.We will be presenting a $2000 gift to a worthwhile Ottawa charity at this performance.
Your traditional favourite carols will be there as always, including "Deck the Hall", "Ding Dong Merrily on High", "Away in a manger" and "Les anges dans nos campagnes". A few new carols are also on the menu, such as "All Through the Night", arranged by William Averitt. We'll also be singing a more pop style carol arranged by Roger Emerson titled "Mary Did you Know". There's a lovely version of it sung by Pentatonix. The choir will also sing several works by our director Pierre Massie, along with two brand-new contributions from Terry Brynaert, whose musical collages the Carollers have premiered many times over the years.
Come hear a cappella singing at its finest. Advance tickets are $25 and $30 at the door. Please show your Proof of Purchase when you arrive at the concert. We look forward to seeing you there!
