The GATHERS team is inviting you to join the Advances School that will held in Rome, Italy, and will be hosted by the reaserch group of Department of Civil, Constructional and Environmental Engineering at the Sapienza Univerity of Rome.Sapienza Uni of Rome team ??, together with the GATHERS lecturers from
TU Delft, Netherlands ??,
TU Wien, Austria ??, and
UPWr, Poland ??,
will guide the school participants in the stanuning realm of geosciences.
⬆️ We will step one level up on the knowladge and usage of:
* Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR)
* Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)
* Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) seismology
for exploring their capabilities in monitoring and modelling the Earth surface changes ?.
? Within the school the participants will meet and have the opportinity to learn from prominent lecturers, will affirm the gained knowledge by practical exercises and work in groups on specific assignments. The participants will be granted with 2 ECTS points.
? During the school the students will have the chance to connect with participants from entire Europe, and also to listen several invited speakers within a dedicated workshop.
There is no participation fee. The organisers will provide different social and networking events, accomodation and lunches.
