The last weekend of January 2027 — in the heart of winter, when darkness feels longest and many of us are already carrying the weight of a new year — I want to invite you to Lorca Simons’ and Susanne Nilsson’s workshop GATHER in Stockholm.
At a time when the world pulls us toward isolation, speed, and exhaustion, Ritual Theatre reminds us of something ancient: we were never meant to do this alone.
We need tribes.
We need spaces where dancers, seekers, and creatives can come together to move, express, witness, and be witnessed.
To GATHER in this way, at the threshold of a new year, is to kindle a flame — one of aliveness, courage, and connection — that can continue to burn long after the workshop ends.
In Ritual Theatre — the transformative theatre practice born from the long and close collaboration between Gabrielle Roth and Lorca Simons — movement becomes a way to meet what is most alive, human, and true within us. Through body, voice, and imagination, we step beyond performance and into presence.

Live Wire is an embodied ritual theatre investigation, grounded in the movement maps of 5Rhythms®, devoted to the shapeshifting nature of physical art, and guided by the vision of Lorca Simons, Gabrielle Roth and artist Martha Peabody. Designed to inspire, refresh, re-set and connect. Our time will include movement, creative excavations, collective truth-telling and beauty-making.
This lab counts for 2.5 days (15 hours) of Waves towards Teacher Training pre-requisites.
About Lorca:
Lorca is the Artistic Director of the LIVE WIRE 5Rhythms Ritual Theatre Wing. Dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative, catalysing the emotional intelligence and visionary sensibilities of the soul through conscious movement and physical art, creating revolutionary theatre that dissolves the fourth wall.......and all the walls that separate us.
She is an internationally certified 5Rhythms facilitator devoted to the shape shifting beauty of ensemble through the exploration of both the performing and visual arts, awakening each individual’s unique creative potential through the vast landscape of the heart.
Lorca actively creates theatre in communities globally through a series of LIVE WIRE Ritual Theatre Labs: Soul Revival, Breath in Motion, Gather, Roots, On The Verge, Electric Landscapes, Wing Span, Silhouette, Soul Notes and Soul Threading.
