Loss isn’t all bad. We’ll take any interpretation of a time our tellers lost, got lost, felt lost or experienced loss. What was gained? We’ll hear a traditional story from our guest host and three true personal stories from our great guests.Author, actress and relaxation/creativity expert Elizabeth Welles guest hosts and is joined by theater and drag artist Brad DeBiase (Kim Etiquette), Costa Rican singer-songwriter Tatiana Crespo and Former World Boxing Federation Super Middleweight World Champion Junior Earl “Sweetness” Butler (“Jeb”).

Meet our guests:
Junior Earl Butler “Jeb”
Jeb is a former World Boxing Federation Super Middleweight World Champion. He has trained Arizona Cardinals players in fitness, traveled the world working with actors and held after-school sessions in schools.
He created the boxing-inspired cardio workout Jeb Boxercise and owns a fitness studio in Ahwatukee where he offers small group circuit training, self-defense courses, core workout and more, as well as classes for kids and seniors, personal training and athletic speed training. Tatiana Crespo
Tatiana is a Costa Rican singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist that you may have seen at some of the Valley’s top stages, including here at ASU Kerr.
She has performed her beloved brand of bilingual Latin folk music as a solo artist, with her band Las Chispas and with the all-female ensemble Las Chollas Peligrosas.
She is also a voice actor, visual artist and interdisciplinary artist. You can find more about Tatiana on her very engaging Instagram account, @taticrespoarte.
Brad DeBiase
Brad is a Phoenix-based theatre artist, storyteller and drag performer.
By day, he serves as the Organizational Programs Manager for the Arizona Commission on the Arts, overseeing grants and professional development for Arizona’s arts and culture nonprofit sector. In this role, Brad also manages data and community engagement initiatives in support of Arizona’s creative workforce.
He also works with the immersive theatre group Yes And Productions and can be seen around the Valley as drag artist Kim Etiquette.
Elizabeth Welles – guest host
Elizabeth Welles is passionate about storytelling in all its forms, whether on stage or in writing. As an artist and healer, she is committed to fostering creativity, joy, and peace within the human heart. She works as a consultant, speaker, teacher and author of books and CDs, sharing her stories via theater, television, film, and radio.
As an actress, Elizabeth regularly performs her one-woman shows, “Speak the Lands of My Heart,” which recounts her journey to India, and “Water from the Welles,” a mix of monologues, stories, poems and songs designed to connect listeners with their inner wisdom and compassion.
A recognized expert in journaling, creativity and relaxation, Elizabeth authored “Journaling for Well-Being & Peace.” She created the CD “Meditation for Relaxation,” founded “The Four Wisdoms of Creativity™” and “The Goddess Method for Stress Reduction.” Learn more about Elizabeth at elizabethwelles.com
