Make new friends in the community while supporting small businesses and giving back to a non-profit highlighted for the month.
About this Event

More Than a Meetup 🎉 As part of our FOODIES + NEW FRIENDS series.

Percentage of monthly proceeds to benefit a different non-profit in each state each month. 50 states, 6 people per table, new friends at the end of the day.

For Tennessee, our gatherings support , which grants wishes to kids that have relapsed from cancer and to young adults 18-21 with a new cancer diagnosis.

Hop off Eventbrite to become a monthly member on our official site, Foodies + New Friends. This page is to become part of a group, not to sign up for an individual date. Sign up there for portion of monthly memberships are donated to local food banks. Here, everytime you join a table, we support a family by putting dinner on theirs!

How does this work?

When you sign up we will send you a welcoming email. If you don't get it within 5 minutes of signing up, please contact us. After we get a final headcount closer to the date, we will make a table reservation with a restaurant of the month. Please note that the pin on the map is just a placeholder since the selected restaurant varies.

Please be mindful that your registration does not include your individual food and drink purchases. $10 goes towards maintaining our platform, and $10 goes towards our featured nonprofit beneficiary.

These outings are intended to help people make friends. These are not dating gatherings. 🧍‍♂️ 🧍‍♀️

Our intention is 4 diners minumum, 6 maximum per night.

is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, therefore all donations are tax deductible. We cover the entire state of Tennessee which allows your donations to help local Tennessee children battling cancer.

The wish that the child receives from us is often the last outing or fun experience that the child will receive. We have granted over 200 wishes in the past 13 years. Sadly, of those wishes we have granted, around 165 of the children have passed away. Unfortunately, a large percentage of our wish recipients do have a terminal prognosis.

Our goal is to give these children something to think about other than being sick. We want to give them a time to feel like a “normal” kid again. A time to be happy and not think about chemotherapy, radiation, or Medic*tion.
