Gather at the Gallery: Leaf Impression Plates (55+)
About this Event
Gather at the Gallery is a monthly event presented specifically for the 55+ community. There will be opportunities to express your own creativity through a variety of hands on workshops, meet artists and hear their stories, or preview new exhibitions.
Please note that there is a limit of two tickets per person. This measure is in place to promote a more equitable ticket purchasing experience for everyone.
During this workshop you will make and paint a piece of pottery. Each ticket includes 1 clay item that will be kiln-fired in our studio. Our instructor will demonstrate basic hand building techniques and show you how to utilize underglaze washes to highlight impressions made by autumn leaves. Items are food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.
During the workshop, please photograph your artwork so you can identify it when it comes out of the kiln. Thank you!
After the Workshop + Pickup:
The ceramic artworks will be fired in a kiln at the gallery. Approximately 4-6 weeks after the workshop, you will receive an email when they are ready to be picked up.
Refunds & Date changes:
