Get an exclusive early look at Gatekeeper, a new heavy metal trivia card game launching September 22 on Kickstarter.
Join us at Evilcorp Horror Maze & Bar for a fun evening of metal trivia, banter, questionable opinions and meeting other local metalheads.
Gatekeeper features 300 multiple choice questions spanning every genre and corner of heavy metal, from Black Sabbath and classic thrash to death metal, black metal, metalcore, nu metal, alternative metal and beyond.
The game has been designed for different knowledge levels, so you don't need to be a walking metal encyclopedia to play, and the multiple-format means that everyone's got a shot.
What to expect
- Play Gatekeeper before its official Kickstarter release
- Meet other metalheads in a relaxed social setting (no actual Gatekeepers)
- Compete individually or around small tables
- Plenty of friendly arguments, big reactions and "UM, ACTUALLY" energy
- A chance to give feedback and help shape the final game
- Learn more about the upcoming Kickstarter campaign
Come solo or bring a friend, most attendees will not know each other beforehand, the game makes it easy to break the ice and get involved!
Places are limited to 10-15 to ensure everyone gets plenty of time to play. Please researve a ticket for each person attending and cancel your booking if you can no longer make it.
Drinks will be available to purchase from the venue.
Photos or short video clips may be captured during the evening for Gatekeeper's social media and Kickstarter campaign. Please let the host know when you arrive if you would prefer not to appear in any footage.

Gatekeeper is a heavy metal trivia card game created by Aidan Night, a local metal artist and frontperson of Aidan Night and the Revenants. Aidan is also the founder of Gatekeeper Entertainment, a new independent games and entertainment company.
