🎷 The horns are hot. The grooves are smokin'. And the awards speak for themselves.
Gary Lowder & the Smokin' Hot Horns bring the irresistible sounds of a 70s Dance Party to life in a high-energy show that has made them one of the Grand Strand's most celebrated acts.
🏆 Gary Lowder is a vocalist, songwriter, producer — and a certified awards powerhouse. At the 2024 Carolina Beach Music Awards, Gary and the band took home 9 wins, including:
🎤 Entertainer of the Year 🎙️ Male Vocalist of the Year 💿 Album of the Year — "In The Moment" 🎵 Collaboration of the Year — "Wildfire" 🎬 Live Production of the Year
...and more.
And that's just 2024. The accolades go back years — including Male Vocalist of the Year (2021) and "Best Local Band" on the Grand Strand four years running (2019–2022). 🌊
🎺 Gary fronts the band on lead vocals, trumpet, and flugelhorn, backed by a world-class lineup that brings the full funk, soul, and smooth grooves of the era to life — night after spectacular night.
Silky. Soulful. Smokin' hot. 🔥
