Join James Greening, Gary Daley and Lloyd Swanton as they present an amalgam of classical, jazz, improv and original compositions.Gary Daley is a highly respected Australian composer, pianist, accordionist, and teacher from Springwood in NSW. He is best known as a musician who has played in some of the elite Australian jazz bands, most notably The Catholics. He leads the quartet Bungarribee, which features his own compositions along with interpretations from the classical repertoire.
Gary’s projects have received many glowing reviews, and his music has been presented at major venues and festivals throughout Australia. He appears on many recordings featuring renowned Australian contemporary artists. He has toured nationally and Internationally, most recently with the Australian multi-award-winning world music ensemble The Mara Big Band and Eishan ensemble. Gary has performed on several movie soundtracks, most recently with Joseph Towardros. He is the recipient of two Australia Council for the Arts grants for new work and recording.
Described by Billboard Magazine as "an outstanding and imaginative Australian bassist and composer", Lloyd Swanton is one of the biggest names in Australian Jazz and a three-time winner of Best Bassist in the Australian Jazz and Blues Awards.
Lloyd co-founded internationally renowned improv powerhouse The Necks alongside Chris Abrahams and Tony Buck in 1986. He has since toured the globe, won four ARIA awards, and was recently recognised by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the top 50 'Greatest Australian Artists of All Time'.

James Greening has been a leading voice in the music scene in Sydney and Australia for more than thirty years. Trombones, pocket trumpet, slide trumpet, tuba, sousaphone and diddly bow bass add to James' diversity as a performer. His roots are in any music that grooves, expressed more often in jazz as a founding member of seminal Australian jazz bands such as Ten Part Invention, Wanderlust, The Catholics, The Umbrellas and The Australian Art Orchestra.
