Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 11 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 10 and under.

What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING: Pull as many weeds as possible in the beds before putting down the mulch, and plant annuals around the flagpole in front of the school.

CLEANING: Clean the outside of the school windows.

VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING (if you have them!):

• WATER to drink
• Gardening Gloves
• Wheelbarrows (3 needed)
• Rakes (3 needed)
• Shovels/Pitchforks (3 needed)
• Trowels
• Shears
• Loppers

Optional:

• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Bug Spray

El número de voluntarios para este proyecto se basa en adultos y niños mayores de 11 años. Se anima a los niños más pequeños a que asistan con sus padres, pero el registro NO ES NECESARIO para cualquier niño menores de 10 años.

¿Que tipo de trabajo estaré realizando?

JARDINERÍA:Arrancar toda la maleza posible de los arriates antes de poner el mantillo, y sembrar las plantas anuales alrededor del asta de la bandera frente a la escuela.

LIMPIEZA: Limpiar el exterior de las ventanas de la escuela.

LOS VOLUNTARIOS DEBEN TRAER (¡Si los tienen!) :

• AGUA para beber
• Guantes para jardinería
• Carretillas (Se necesitan 3)
• Rastrillos(Se necesitan 3)
• Palas
• Horquillas
• Palas de jardinería (Se necesitan 3)
• Tijeras de podar

• Repelente de insectos
