Gary Ablett Snr transformed the game and had fans of all clubs, not just the Cats! clambering over themselves to watch him play.
Whether you were front and centre in the 1980s and 1990s at Kardinia Park watching Gary terrorise the opposition, or viewing his high flying marks and miraculous goals on TV, there’s no doubt you were mesmerised by what this man could do on a football field.
Naturally a private person Gary has kept a very low profile of the years but is now ready to come out and give the fans what they want!

Gary will be at the Sphinx Hotel in Geelong and you are invited to come and meet the player most have idolised for years!
We are releasing a limited number of tickets for this meet n greet and we have no doubt they will be snapped up faster than Gary was on a tear away lead.

Event Terms & Conditions
- This is an all ages event. Persons under the age of 18 require an adult to accompany them to satisfy venue policy.
- All persons inside the function room will require a ticket for the event. Persons without a ticket (spectators) will NOT be allowed inside the meet n greet room sorry.
- This is a no-sign event (for personal items). Memorabilia will be available for purchase at the event for attendees who wish to take home a piece of signed football history.
- We ask no videos or recording at the event, persons caught using their device to film will be asked to put it away so please keep it in your pocket to avoid the disappointment and embarrassment.
- Photos are taken by our professional photographer or with individual personal devices. If selecting personal devices, please ensure you have your phones ready with camera settings adjusted appropriately to the lighting in the room to avoid disappointment.
- Entertainment By Vin assumes no responsibility for poor quality photos on personal devices.
- This is a dry event. Strictly no alcohol will be permitted in the photos with Gary. Please don’t ask to avoid disappointment.
- During your meet you will receive your ticket inclusions. If you have a request for something additional to your ticket inclusion please contact and seek permission from Entertainment By Vin prior to the event day.
- Please don’t place Gary in an uncomfortable position of asking for additional requests during your meet n greet as the request will be denied.
- If your conduct at the meet is deemed inappropriate, unacceptable, dangerous or otherwise ill intended Entertainment By Vin reserves the right to refuse your meet with Gary and you will be asked to leave with no refund on your ticket.
- Tickets are non refundable. However, if the event is cancelled or the event organiser changes the date of the meet due to unforeseen circumstances, we provide the ticket holder with the option of a full refund or future show credit.
- By purchasing tickets to this event you may receive promotional correspondence from us in the future regarding other events in your area, including discounted and free ticket offers.
