Prepare for our hilarious and heartwarming new comedy series, "Garvey's Ghost," created by me, Frances-Anne Solomon The show will premiere at the CaribbeanTales International Film Festival on September 4th, 2024 and then stream exclusively on CaribbeanTales-TV.com.
Drawing inspiration from the Toronto Award-Winning book "In The Black" by B. Denham Jolly, the series offers a glimpse into Black life in 1950s Toronto. Jolly's journey was deeply shaped by Marcus Garvey's influential message of Black empowerment and self-reliance, igniting his determination to succeed and contribute to his community.
