Since moving to Cape Breton, Garry Leech has become known for his performances as both a solo artist and with his band The Misfit Boys. Before making Cape Breton home, he spent years performing throughout New York’s club scene with his band Spyder Jones, bringing a rich blend of rock, roots, and lived-in storytelling to every show.
Born in Coventry and raised mostly in Manchester, England, Garry brings an unmistakable British edge and decades of musical experience to the stage. Whether delivering heartfelt originals or crowd-favourite covers, audiences can expect an intimate night of great songs and seasoned musicianship.
Many around town have probably spotted Garry in his natural habitat — tucked into a pub somewhere with a pint in one hand and a book in the other. This time, though, he’ll be trading the paperback for a guitar, so come hear the stories sung instead of silently read.
