Ingredients:
1 large loaf of French bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup marinara sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, then brush this mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
