About this Event
Learn how to manage cover crops and plant no-till vegetables!
Join Kevin Allison for an in-depth tour of:
- Cover crop termination
- Use of tarps for bed preparation and W**d control
- Use of compost and mulches
- No-till vegetable planting
- Growing biodiversity
Current Sessions Available:
- Thursday, April 14: 10:00 a.m.
- Thursday, April 14: 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday, May 12: 10:00 a.m.
- Thursday, May 12: 6:00 p.m.
These sessions are 1 hour long but willing to stay longer for additional discussion. Feel free to join multiple sessions, and more will be added throughout the season.
Location: Mayor's Garden, West 56th Street and Reed Road, Indianapolis, IN 46254.
The SWCD Eagle Creek Demonstration Garden is 3 plots within within the larger community garden. Walk south along Eagle Creek Trail along the west side of the gardens to arrive at the SWCD garden.
