Discover the magic of creating new plants from the ones you already have! This hands-on workshop introduces families to the basic methods of plant propagation, including seed starting, cuttings, division, and simple layering techniques. Participants will explore how different plants grow, what they need to reproduce successfully, and how each method works in nature and at home.
Each family will complete a take-home propagation project, along with care instructions to help their new plants thrive. No prior gardening experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty!
No more than 1 child per parent for children under 5 is recommended.
Capacity is limited, so reserve your spot today! This class will take place in person at Huntsville Botanical Garden. All class attendees will be notified of the exact location via email prior to the class.
