Come by the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market for a seed-planting activity for kids. Children can choose from a selection of vegetable and flower seeds, and plant them in a cup to take home. There will also be coloring sheets about the life cycle of a seed. Free and open to all.
“We love having families come to the Market, and are glad to offer some hands-on fun for kids,” says Jen Armstrong, Finance and Operations Manager at Otsego 2000, which runs the Farmers’ Market.
The Farmers' Market is open 9am to 2pm on Saturdays with 30+ local farmers, makers and artisans. Live music 10am to noon.
Free kids' crafts with Miss Jen are offered on the first Saturday of each month at the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market.
