Her garden has been filmed for 3000 acres, she has presented with Costa and Bruce Pascoe, and she operates Greensong Ecopsychology, exploring methods to be healthier and productive in our communities and environmental spheres.

Overview:
Gardening basics of growing edible foods will cover basic terminology and principles of sustainable gardening and growing edible foods. We will visit the CSCH garden to see a thriving edible garden in action.
We will look at design aspects and reading our landscape to understand how our relationship with our natural world relates to our gardening practices. We will learn tips for placement of plants and garden elements, use a seasonal planning guide and sow seeds to take home and care for.
Soil Health will consider soil types and how we can create healthier soil that feeds our soil food web. We will visit our CSCH garden compost and worm farms and learn more about the integration of these systems.
We will learn about other propagation methods including transplanting seedlings and plant care.
Natural pest and bug management will address possible imbalances causing infestations of insects damaging plants. We will make a recipe and look at alternative ways of addressing the problems.
During our last week, we will look at W**d issues in the garden and trouble shoot options for management. We will also have time to discuss your specific personal gardening challenges. You will be invited to join the community garden and upskill in your specific area of interest.

4 x 2.5 hours workshops theory, discussion and practical hands-on.
