Led by Dr. Heather Kalaman, UF/IFAS Extension Faculty, this class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to create a thriving habitat for Florida's incredible pollinator species. We will delve into the importance of pollinators, the art of identifying native pollinator species that play a crucial role in our local ecosystems, explore practical techniques on how to grow and care for flowers that are not only visually captivating but are also nutrient-rich, and other valuable insights for nurturing a thriving pollinator habitat in your very own landscape. Don't miss out on this informative class that celebrates the beauty of native pollinators that will empower you to make a positive impact on the environment through your gardening practices.
Cost for Registration: $5
Registration includes a native wildflower pollinator seed packet, and two Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ books.
