Common Ground Farm presents Gardening Basics for Florida(This is a repeat of the class offered on 9/14.)
About this Event
Over the years many of you have asked about us offering a basic gardening class. On Tuesday, September 14 from 5:30 to 7:30pm we will be conducting a ”Gardening Basics for Florida” class. The class is designed for those new to gardening and those who are new to gardening in Florida. The class size is limited to 15 and costs $25 a person. Advanced registration is required. Tickets are exclusively available through the Eventbrite ticketing website.
Topics that will be discussed during the class include:
- Gardening in Florida
- Palling process of starting a garden
- What you want to grow
- Common challenges of gardening in Florida
- Ways of preparing for the harvest
