About this Event

Join Steve from the Big City Butterflies project to learn how to create a 'Wild Space' to support butterflies and moths. A Wild Space is one where butterflies and moths can complete their lifecycle. The area needs to enable them to feed, breed and shelter and can be any size from a window box to large garden. The workshop consists of a 30 minute presentation followed by a guided walk looking at habitat in Waterlow Park. The workshop is delivered in partnership with Camden council.

London is home to a surprising diversity of butterflies and moths. Over 30 of the UK's 59 butterfly species can be spotted in the capital. Big City Butterflies is an exciting project which is inspiring Londoners to discover butterflies and moths, and connect them with nature and their local green spaces.
