Gardeners' festival

Gardener’s festival on the 26th of September in the garden of Retrito Smarsas. We will celebrate the garden’s harvest and become entangled with the mound. We will explore nature’s goods, dive into the culinary and sonic worlds created by our precious garden friends. It is a friendly garden, it is Hortus amicus!

The guided tour of the exhibition "Kupstai”, with the exhibitions curator Giedrius Satkūnas. This part of the event is free and open to all!
Fermental Health: Kraut-athon!
Lend your hands and heads to preserving the cabbage harvest in the tradition of the elders - with salt, muscle and time. Help us get 100kg of Kalvariju vegetables fermented in buckets to store in the basement over winter and share in the new year.

Seed saving with Goda
Seed saving is when you let a plant live through its entire life cycle and then collect the seeds it makes and store them to plant them again in the future. We’ll cover the basics of how to do this, and why it is an important, beautiful and fun process.
