Multiple gardens featuring over 650 plants with an eclectic mix of English cottage garden plants, Japanese Maples, ornamental grasses and hydrangeas. By eliminating my front yard lawn and instead creating multiple gardens, I have met more neighbors and the garden has become a shared experience in the neighborhood. It has changed the way I garden. The front and back gardens are separated by paths and they all reflect my passion for plants.
Parking: on street
Special Directions: Saddler is off Old Stage Rd near the Service Road close to Route 6 Exit 65
Accessibility and Dogs: Discretionary, no dogs
The Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival is an annual celebration of the region's blue, pink, and white signature flowers and everything gardens on Cape Cod! This ten-day festival will be held July 5-July 14, 2024.
Highlights include daily tours of private gardens, each designed and maintained by the individual homeowners and carrying a unique charm. You are sure to enjoy such eclectic spaces, not to mention the good feeling of supporting many non-profits, including Whelden Library.
There will be a $5 entrance fee per person per garden.
