You are encouraged to share and invite people to this event. We are partnering with local organizations and will be hosting the first Annual Garden Olympics this year! We invite corporate groups, nonprofits, agencies, businesses, community groups, 4H clubs, church groups, homeschool groups, and school organizations to participate in clean up, planting, and harvesting. This will take place from the beginning of May until the end of October. We hope to have 4 to 5 groups a month coming to the garden(s) to help us produce more healthy food for local food pantries. Teams will be recognized throughout the entire competition and winners will be recognized in our newsletter, WHIZ news, social media and at our Annual Meeting. All participants will be invited to join us for an end-of-season harvest party to celebrate all our volunteers where we will give out 6 awards.
