Garden of Eden - The Galentines with Hundred Pound Housecat

Join us as we host an unforgettable night featuring two of the most exciting bands on the scene: The Galentines and Hundred Pound Housecat. This event is a celebration of the strength, creativity, and impact of female musicians. Come support these amazing artists, hear new music, and be a part of a night dedicated to uplifting women bands in the music industry.

The Galentines are an all-girl indie-rock band who are the very heart of the local music scene in Boulder, Colorado. They are known for their stunning harmonies blended into epic instrumental solos that remind the listener of classic rock bands such as Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd, while maintaining their punk edge with biting lyricism. Their music “celebrates the complexity of womanhood, capturing all of its challenges and triumphs” (Medium), while breaking the barriers that define the female experience. Encompassing multiple genres, including indie, punk and rock, the girls are coming up on the heavily anticipated release of their next single Eden on December 5th 2025.

2025 International Blues Challenge semi-finalists 100LB Housecat packs plenty of punch. Their sound is a foot-stomping mix of original blues and soulful Americana that feels like it is simultaneously from another time and perfect for this one.

Melly Frances’ vocals are incomparable. She sounds like a beautiful, eerie Bessie Smith 78 one minute, before letting out a ragged scream that would make Leon Russel blush, the next. She does all of this while holding down the rhythm with a mix of bass, washboard and stomp box. Keke Lee punctuates Housecat’s music with a mix of slide and piedmont blues guitar, reminiscent of Tampa Red, Memphis Minnie and Johnny Shines.
