The Gulf Beaches Historical Museum was badly damaged in last year’s hurricanes. Volunteers meet weekly for 1 hour to maintain the Coastal Native Plant Gardens.
Do you enjoy digging into history and battling rogue weeds? There is a “garden-weeding party” at the Museum every Monday morning from 9:00 am – 10:00 am (just 1 hour) to keep the Museum grounds and garden looking well-maintained while the building awaits restoration from last year’s hurricanes. You will also learn about native coastal plants and local history from museum members.
Bring: Recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, and your favorite gardening attire.
Parking: Free on-street parking is available.
