Got a good reason for taking the easy way out – become a day tripper.
Take a coach from north to south to visit five gardens, both new and old, along with a sustainable backyard.
You’ll visit Beechwoods, Sullivan Garden, King Edward Park in Hāwera (pack yourself a lunch to enjoy there), Sanderson Garden, Oakley Garden and The Commune, a market garden in the Sustainable Backyards Trail.
This new offering is aimed at non-drivers, people not keen on driving themselves and festival fans who want to explore gardens with others rather than alone.
