About this Event

Date: Wednesday, April 29th

Time: 5:30PM-7:00PM

At this affordable and supportive housing program for 50 formerly homeless individuals, volunteers will be breaking down old wooden garden beds, moving soil to new standing beds, breaking down an old shed, move an apple tree, and adding additional fencing to the apiary boundary. S:US's gardens support residents in growing vegetables, fruits, and herbs while creating a welcoming outdoor space to relax, connect, and spend time in nature.

The event will happen rain or shine. If needed, S:US has a community room and people can take breaks. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing for gardening, including closed toe shoes. We will be playing in dirt. Other suggested items to bring include a water bottle and sunscreen.
