INTRODUCTION TO DRYPOINT

Description:

Drypoint is a printmaking technique in which an image is drawn and then incised into a surface with a hard-pointed metal, practically identical to engraving.

In this class you will learn the basics on how to transfer your design using recycled materials as canvas, and how to reproduce your design as many times as possible.

We recommend wearing clothes you do not mind getting ink on, also feel free to bring your own design or a printed image to be replicated NO BIGGER than 7in x 8in. Open to ages 16 and over. All materials will be provided

INTRODUCTION TO LINOCUT PRINTMAKING

Description:

Linocut is a printmaking technique in which an image is carved on a linoleum piece and then printed on paper applying pressure on it to be replicated as many times as possible.

Open to ages 18 and over. All material will be provided. We recommend bringing your own design or a printed image to be replicated. Please wear clothing you wont mind getting ink on.
