The City will host our annual Garage Sale Weekend from May 8-10, with no permits or fees required for residents who want to participate. “We know citizens are always eager to make use of the Garage Sale Weekend,” said City Manager Jim Crosby. “It is a great opportunity for people to recycle their unwanted or unused items, and to interact with their neighbors in a fun way. Whether you’re downsizing, decluttering, or just hoping to make a little extra cash, we hope you’ll take advantage of the free Garage Sale Weekend.”
Citizens are allowed to advertise for their sale with a sign on their own property without needing a sign permit. All signs must be removed as soon as the sale is over.
