We're extremely proud to have been chosen by Warwickshire County Council's Road Safety Partnership Group to work with them and help people overcome their anxieties about bringing their car for repairs, services or MOT's.
This is a great opportunity for new drivers, first-time car owners, students, and anyone who feels uncomfortable coming to a garage or would like to know more about what goes on behind the scenes. We understand people can be concerned about taking their vehicles to garages for services or repairs as they are worried about being ‘ripped off’, have a lack of trust in garages or fear a large bill they can’t afford. But then they avoid services and repairs, increasing the risk of driving an unsafe vehicle, and increasing the risk of being involved in a collision due to a vehicle defect. Maintaining your vehicle properly means you’re less likely to breakdown, receive points and fines or be involved in a collision.
We'll have mechanics on hand to answer your questions plus a goodie bag to take away with a few helpful pieces and info in.
We'll take you through some of the easier things like topping up your oil, how to check your tyre treads, how to help your vehicle pass it's MOT first time and what the differences are between a service and an MOT and why both are important.
During the Open Evening on 9th October 2024 between 5pm - 6pm, you can come and have a look around, meet the mechanics and receive tips and advice from Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership Team about how to find a garage you can trust.
