The final Lab of 2022, showcases 2 different aspects of performing for film.Film On Stage - the students perform monologues both on screen and on stage at the same time. So you see them live, performing in front of the camera, and also see that projected on the screen behind them.
24-Hour Film Project - over the past few weeks, the Gap 2 and Gap 3 students have been out and about, working day and night, learning and developing the skills and techniques behind film-making. While the Gap 2s acted in front of the camera, the Gap 3s directed and worked behind. And they had 24 hours to put it together.
This Sunday, December 4th, in the final Lab of the year, you will be able to see the results of all that work. There were 2 films made by 2 different teams and you get to vote on your preference.
"Paper Cranes”, the feature film made by last year's graduates, might also be shown.
So come down to the Actors' Hub in East Perth, and see something different from our amazingly talented Gap students.
