Tennis players from across Texas will compete in singles, doubles and mixed doubles competition at the 2026 Games of Texas, governed by the United States Tennis Association Texas Section.
Dates: July 31-Aug. 2
Location: George P. Mitchell Tennis Center at Texas A&M University, 750 Penberthy Blvd., College Station, Texas
Registration: April 6-July 24
Entry fees: Juniors $25 per entry; adults $30 per entry (maximum of two events per player)
Competition will feature junior divisions in boys and girls singles and doubles for ages 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under and 18 and under. Adult divisions will include men’s and women’s singles and doubles at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Open levels, along with mixed doubles in an 18-and-over Open division.
Singles matches will be best two out of three sets with no-ad scoring and a 10-point match tiebreaker in lieu of a third set. Doubles matches will be eight-game pro sets with no-ad scoring and a 7-point tiebreaker at 7-7.
Schedule (subject to registration numnbers):
• Friday, July 31: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 1: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Sunday, Aug. 2: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
All first-round matches will check in at 8 a.m.
Texas A&M University’s clear bag policy will be enforced. Concessions will be available for purchase. Free parking is available at Reed Arena (Lot 100).
