Games Are Magic! Stelle Scopa Open Sweep

Join mystic artist and card shark Strega Maria for a fun introduction to Tarot history and playing card design. Become acquainted with their original deck, Stelle Scopa, and its layers of queer, ancestral, cosmic magic. Maria will teach you to play Italy’s most popular card game and, from there, you can choose your own adventure, Scopa tournament to win artful prizes, doodle your own original tarot card, or experiment with reading meaning from the cards’ imagery.

This event is exclusive to queer youth, ages 16–20. Presented in conjunction with Maria Molteni's exhibition at SLOMA, "Beautiful Seven."
