Seattle EdTech Meetup, Seattle Indies, Pacific Science Center, Perfect Day Games, and sponsor foundry10 are partnering to host the 4th annual Games and Education Industry Collider. an event designed to bring educators and game industry professionals from all around the greater Seattle area together for a day of networking, panels, workshops, knowledge sharing, and of course, games!
On Saturday, November 16, 2024 we will gather at Pacific Science Center for a full day of exploration of the intersection of games and education.
We realize this is a shift if the originally planned date and time but we recently received funding as recipients of an ICAP award and the formation of the Washington Interactive Learning Alliance (WILA) to expand our programming and present some amazing speakers and sessions.
Immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where innovative minds come together to discuss the potential of games in education. From gamified learning platforms to educational game development, this event will showcase inspiring projects and thought-provoking discussions.
Discover how games can revolutionize the way we learn, engage, and educate. Interact with experts, educators, and game enthusiasts who share a passion for leveraging games as powerful educational tools.
Whether you're an educator, a game developer, or simply curious about the future of education, the Games and Education Collider is the place to be. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired!
Food will be provided at no cost.
We will announce speakers, sessions, and exhibitors for the event in the coming weeks. Food will be provided at no cost. If you have any questions or would like to participate, please reach out to us at [email protected].

We strive to provide inclusive and accessible spaces for all who wish to pursue game development as a hobby or profession. Our focus is on hosting events and activities that empower people to build their skills and their professional network, make games, make friends, share feedback, and showcase their projects.
Seattle Ed Tech Meetup hosts monthly events bringing together people around the intersection of education and technology. We host networking happy hours, workshops, and topical speakers.
Perfect Day Games is a highly creative group of game developers who share a passion for creating engaging and immersive games. Our team consists of individuals from diverse career paths, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise to the table. We believe that the key to our success is our ability to work together seamlessly, leveraging our collective strengths to create exceptional games.
Our team members come from a variety of career backgrounds, including programming, art, design, narrative, and music. We believe that this diversity is one of our greatest strengths, as it allows us to approach game development from a variety of angles. We have experience on the team from a wide range of projects, from simple mobile games to complex AAA titles, and working together as Perfect Day, we are always looking for new challenges and opportunities to push ourselves to the next level.
At the heart of our team is a shared love of gaming. We are all gamers ourselves, and we understand the importance of creating games that are fun, engaging, and compelling. We believe that the best games are those that transport players to new worlds, challenge their skills, and leave a lasting impression. We take pride in our collaborative approach to game development. From the initial concept phase to the final release, we work closely with each other to ensure that every aspect of the game is polished and refined. We believe that this approach not only leads to better games but also fosters camaraderie and friendship among our team members.
