About this Event

On Thursday, August 13, we're opening the doors of DIE GAMEREI for the fourth time as part of our GAMEREI Open House series. This edition of our meetup for exchanging ideas, discussing, and networking within the Bavarian games community is all about Games & Puzzles 🧩

We've put together a varied program for you:

• 🎤 – Freelance Game Designer, Visual Designer, and Consultant – shares an overarching game design perspective on the topic in her talk 'Making Players Feel Clever: The Art of Puzzle Design', drawing among other things on her extensive experience as lead designer of the award-winning true-crime detective game The Darkest Files.
• 🎤 – Independent Game Developer (Pig Knight Games) – sheds light on what distinguishes a good puzzle from a bad one in his talk 'Puzzle Design in 30 min' and gives insight into his puzzle design process using the Dungeons of Dreadrock series as an example.
• ⁉️ (Quizmaster with over twenty years of experience in the video game industry) is putting together an exclusive Games Pubquiz just for you and is already looking forward to seeing who'll walk away as the glorious winner.

Beyond that, you can look forward to:
