GameMaker Game Jam @ Plug & Play Silicon Valley

GameMaker are proudly sponsoring HackClub's upcoming Counterspell GameJam on Saturday 9 November 2024 at The Plug & Play Tech Centre, Sunnyvale.

Counterspell Silicon Valley is a beginner friendly game jam for high schoolers happening in the Bay Area where artists, musicians, and coders get together to build apps and games.

All participants will have the chance to showcase their entry on GX.Games and compete for the Best Game Award, which includes a GameMaker Pro license prize for the winning team.

The jam starts at 9AM on Saturday 23rd November and runs through until 5pm on the 24th.

The theme for Counterspell Silicon Valley will be decided through peer voting before the event starts.

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in programming - they'll have workshops, resources and mentors throughout the two-day event to help you with your project.
